KB USNIA Kesugihan Academic Tour to UNSOED Purwokerto: PAUD USNIA

January 12, 2026 - The students of KB USNIA Kesugihan Early Childhood Education participated in an Academic Field Trip to Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) in Purwokerto. This activity aimed to provide direct learning experiences for young children through academic activities designed in a fun and developmentally appropriate way.

The activity began with a visit to the Faculty of Medicine. The children were introduced to the medical profession and various types of doctors. In addition, they learned about medical equipment and its functions, and practiced proper handwashing techniques. The session was conducted interactively through singing, question-and-answer activities, and rewards for active participants. The activity concluded with a handover ceremony and the placement of the institution’s name as a token of appreciation.

Next, the group continued their visit to the Faculty of Humanities (FIB). The children took part in singing and interactive discussions in a cheerful atmosphere. On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) UNSOED and KB USNIA as a form of cooperation in the field of education. The activity ended with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photo session.

The Academic Field Trip continued with a visit to the Faculty of Animal Science. The children were introduced to various types of livestock, such as cows, dairy cows, bulls, laying hens, goats, and other farm animals. They also had the opportunity to drink healthy and nutritious pasteurized milk. The children appeared enthusiastic and happy throughout the entire series of activities.

Overall, the Academic Field Trip was carried out smoothly, safely, and joyfully. The children gained meaningful learning experiences, broadened their knowledge about professions, university life, and the livestock environment, while also strengthening institutional cooperation between KB USNIA and the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) UNSOED.
